When caregiving is split between a spouse, a daughter who visits on weekends, and a home health aide on weekdays, small changes are easy to miss. A quick Care Log entry — a mood, a meal, a short note — means everyone is reading from the same page instead of piecing it together from memory at the next family call.
What gets flagged, and why
Falls, pain, and confusion are flagged automatically when you log them, and any entry can be flagged by hand. Flagged entries aren't judged or scored — they're simply marked with a flag in the log and roll into the ER Packet's "changed in the last 7 days" section, so the pattern is visible instead of buried in a week of otherwise-routine notes.
What shows up at the next appointment
Because entries are timestamped and attributed to whoever wrote them, a family can walk into an appointment able to say exactly when a change started and how often it's happened — the kind of detail a doctor asks for and a family usually has to reconstruct on the spot otherwise.
Where to find it
The Care Log is the Log tab, where Write an entry adds a note. The three newest entries also show on the Today screen under From the log, and anything flagged rolls onto the ER Packet.

Does flagging an entry alert anyone right away?
No push notifications are sent for care log entries. Flagged entries are marked in the Log tab, the newest entries also show on the Today screen, and flagged ones roll into the ER Packet.
Is the care log reviewed or interpreted by FolksKeeper?
No. FolksKeeper is an organizer, not medical advice — it stores and surfaces what your family writes, without interpreting it.
